Senado Square is the historic heart of the city, a perfect area for pedestrians that features the old Senate building, considered the foremost example of Portuguese architecture in Macau. The facade of St. Paul's Cathedral is another highly-recommended visit for those interested in historical architecture. In addition, there are several museums celebrating the city's past. Modern attractions include the Macau Tower, which consists of an observation deck and restaurants on the one hand and the opportunity to walk along the outer rim of the observation level or take the world's steepest bungee jump on the other.
