Another diving attraction that attracts divers from all over the world is Thistlegrom Wreck, a ship that was packed with goods to supply British soldiers that were sunk during WWII by German bombers. Another must-see attraction is a day trip away at St. Catherine’s Monastery. Lying at the bottom of Mt. Sinai (where Moses received the Ten Commandments), the Greek Orthodox hermitage is one of the oldest working monasteries in the world and home to the Old Testament’s “burning bush,” which specifically attracts many Christian pilgrims. While there, climbing up Mt. Sinai is highly recommended, with gorgeous views at the top and along the way.
